Terms & Conditions (Using Treveil Services)

1. Introduction

Welcome to Treveil Services. We provide professional window cleaning and related services across Gravesend, the Medway Towns, and the Hoo Peninsula.
By booking our services, you agree to the terms set out below.
We operate as a sole trader under the name Treveil Services.


2. Services We Provide

Standard External Window Cleaning

Our standard clean includes:

  • Windows
  • Frames
  • Sills
  • External doors

Internal Window Cleaning

Internal window cleaning is available at from 2× the external price, depending on access.

Additional Services

We also offer:

  • Gutter cleaning (internal & external)
  • Conservatory roof cleaning (available only to existing window cleaning customers)

All additional services require a separate quote.


3. Cleaning Methods

We clean using pure de-ionised water and a water-fed pole system, working from ground level where possible.
Ladders may be used when necessary.

We continue working in light rain, as this does not affect the quality of the clean.
For safety, we do not operate in heavy rain or unsafe weather.
Cold or icy conditions may also lead to postponement depending on the day.

Windows may be left wet after cleaning—pure water ensures they dry spot-free and streak-free.


4. Access Requirements

To ensure we can carry out your clean, please:

  • Ensure access to the rear of the property (for full cleans)
  • Secure all dogs inside the home
  • Clear dog mess from the garden where reasonable

If we cannot gain full access, we will clean all accessible areas and charge a suitable portion of the price (minimum 60%).


5. Scheduling & Frequency

We offer:

  • 5-weekly cleaning
  • 10-weekly cleaning

We always send a text message the night before your clean so you know we are coming.

If we need to postpone due to weather, illness, or operational issues, we will notify you with a new proposed date.

There is no fixed contract — you may cancel at any time.

Repeated cancellations may lead to your cleaning interval being adjusted (for example, moved to 10-weekly).
In rare circumstances, we may remove a property from our round.


6. Payment Terms

We accept:

  • Direct Debit (preferred)
  • Bank transfer
  • Cash (least preferred)

Payment is due within 14 days of your clean.
Invoices are available via FreeAgent.

We do not currently charge late payment fees, though we reserve the right to review this in the future.


7. Cancellations by You

You can skip or cancel a clean at any time — just let us know.
If access is blocked on the day (locked gate, obstacles, loose dog), we will clean what we can and charge at least 60% of the full price.


8. Postponements by Us

We may postpone a clean due to:

  • Heavy rain
  • Unsafe weather
  • Illness
  • Vehicle issues
  • Unforeseen operational delays

We will always contact you with a new proposed date.


9. Liability & Damage

We take care while working and carry public liability insurance.

However, we cannot be held responsible for:

  • Old or brittle frames
  • Loose or flaking paint
  • Old/failing window seals
  • Pre-existing damage
  • Issues caused by ageing materials

If we notice anything concerning, we will inform you.


10. Satisfaction Guarantee

If you are unhappy with your clean, please contact us within a reasonable time.
We will happily return to put things right free of charge.


11. Data Protection & Privacy

We store customer information only for:

  • Scheduling
  • Communication
  • Payments
  • Occasional marketing of relevant services (e.g., gutter cleaning)

Your Direct Debit information is securely stored by GoCardless Ltd.
Other details may be stored in secure spreadsheets.

You may request deletion of your data at any time by emailing:

Please note: if we delete your data, we cannot continue providing services.

We never sell or share customer data with third parties, beyond payment processors.
